Illinois Central RR Is The Key of The New Orleans Gateway To The Panama Canal and Central and South American Ports

Rare separately published advertising map of the United States, promoting the lines of the Illinois Central Railroad and Yazoo & Mississippi Railroad, promoting the two railroads.

The map is overprinted in red to show the lines to the two railroads, with inset maps of the Philippines, Alaska, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Guam, Pine Island, Samoa, etc.

The code in red notes double tracks, double tracks under construction, and equivalent to double track, etc.  An array of steamship lines and distances are also shown radiating out from the mouth of the Mississippi River.

 

Condition Description
Minor loss along several folds and at fold intersections. Minor discoloration.
