Description
Impressive large-scale bird's-eye view poster of Germany by one of the great cartographic artists of the latter half of the 20th century, Heinrich Caesar Barenn.
This colorful and beautifully detailed map of Germany faces north towards Scandinavia from a point of view over the Alps.
The Barenn website notes that the view was first produced in 1975-77. This is an early edition, perhaps the first, and was produced for Maits Geographischer Verlag in Germany.
Later editions were produced and continue to be produced, albeit with modified imprint data in the lower right and perhaps other changes.
