The predecessor company to Greyhound Bus Lines started service in Minnesota in 1914. Consolidation of other companies would occur over the next fifteen years, and by 1930 the company would be one of the largest operators in the country, with a nationwide fleet. While suffering some troubles during the Depression, it would grow rapidly in the late 1930s.
