1970s Reproduction of Harrison Godwin's Pictorial Map of San Francisco
Charming and amusing pictorial map of San Francisco in the 1920's, even then touted as "The City That Knows How" and "The Ideal Convention City."
Godwin's map is perhaps the largest and most profusely illustrated of all pictorial maps of San Francisco, with dozens of whimsical vignettes illustrating both the modern city of San Francisco and its early history.
This reproduction is apprently relatively scarce, as we located only one other example of the map at auction.
This is our second time offering this map for sale.
