Rare Plan of Nysa and map of Silesia.

Striking and highly decorative copper engraved set of 3 images, including a plan of Nysa (in Silesia), Poland, a profile of the fortifications and a main map of Silesia.

The map is centered on Nysa and it covers the surrounding area. The map provides excellant details showing fortified city, towns, villages, rivers, forests and reliefs. A large starpwork title cartouche and a compass rose flank the map.

The plan of Nysa shows builidngs, streets, towns walls and fortress.

A ribbon-style cartouche includes explanations and the title: "Neuer und Accurater Plan von der Festung Nyss".
