Decorative full color example of Nolin's map of the Britsh Isles.
The map provides a detailed key of the Geographical divisions of the region in the lower right corner by Jean Nicolas du Tralage, Sieur de Tillemont, who revised and corrected the first edition of Nolin's map. The present map, with revisions, was issued for nearly 100 years.
The map was first issued circa 1688. This is a very late (undated edition), which we dated based upon its inclusion in an incomplete composite atlas of maps from the 1740s and 1750s.
