Nice example of Van Loon's chart of Biscayne Bay, from Galicia and Biscaya to the southern French Coastline.
Striking sea chart, embellished by decorative cartouches, sailing ships coats of arms and two decorative coats of arms. The map identifies soundings, sand bars, fishing banks and navigational hazards. A nice example of this scarce chart.

Old Color example, heightened in gold. Minor toning and soiling.
