The historical detail in the map is noteworthy,with the Firelands, Western Reserve, Military Bounty, Ohio Company, Virginia Military Bountry, Congress Lands and Symmes Purchase each noted, along with historical annotations.
Arthur Suchy was a commercial illustrator and graphic, born in Cleveland in 1898. While he is best known for his work a a graphic artist, he is know to have produced at least 6 pictorial maps during this career.
