Fantastic pictorial map of Wisconsin, celebrating Wisconsin's State Parks, with facts checked and approved by Joseph Schaffer and Dr. Louise Phelps Kellogg, and artwork by Rina S. Bahlman.
Published by the Milwaukee Sentinel to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of Wisconsin Territory, the map is a remarkable compendium of historical events, the vast majority of which are from the 1820s to 1860s.
The map of Wisconsin is shown floating on a layer of clouds, with the capital building at the top right, and employs and unusual but visually exceptional graphic style.
Rarity
The map is very rare. We are aware of another state of the map, with the inscription below the map noting that it is compliments of the Hunter Tractor and Machinery Company.
