World War II-era air navigation chart in 1:5,000,000 scale of the southwestern Pacific, prepared for the War and Navy Department Agencies, from Eastern Australia and New Guinea to Samoa and the Phoenix Islands. Brisbane, General MacArthur's General Headquarters for the South West Pacific Area for much of the war, appears near RAAF Station Archerfield and RAAF Base Amberley.
Dead reckoning (DR) positions connect Nadi, Fiji to Tomo, New Caledonia and Brisbane with times (in UTC), true courses (TR) at 249° and 246°, and distances (680 and 810) in nautical miles.
