The map shows the many features of Laguna Beach, with an inset depicting South Laguna. Major streets are (somewhat accurately) shown, but the main focus is on advertisers in this characteristic late-20th-century map.
Humor is mixed into the content, with various sunbathers being roasted at the beach. The artist's signature, "MP," is scattered many times throughout the map.
