Description

An interesting early-20th-century color-lithographed poster elaborating six of the more common breeds of horse in the United States at that time.

The poster was part of a series prepared by James McConnell. On the verso is educational text extolling the virtues and processes of crop rotation and fertilizer.

Rarity

The poster is apparently quite scarce; we have not located another one in general internet searches nor in OCLC.

Condition Description
Color-lithographed on the recto, black and white on the verso. Faint dampstain. Edged with linen, except at the top, where a dowel seems to have been removed.
