Description

Highly detailed map of the Pacific Northwest region of the United States.

Includes towns, railroads, Indian Tribes, mountains, rivers, wells, hot springs, military camps, and a host of other information.

The San Juan Archipelago is noted to be the subject of a territorial dispute, spurred by the so-called Pig War (the eponymous swine was the only casualty). The area around Sevier Lake and White Sage Valley is not detailed as it would be in later editions; there are also few communities lining the Central Pacific Railroad.

Condition Description
Some marginal foxing.
