Last year we shipped over 4,500 antique maps to more than 50 countries. Maps are shipped Monday through Friday year-round. If an order is received before 2 PM PST, we will ship the order that day. If an order is received after that time, we will ship the next day. We ship maps either flat in custom packages or in specially ordered thick tubes. Description

Scarce early map of Hispaniola, first published by Magini in 1596.

The map is based upon the map from Porcacchi's L'Isole, first published in 1572.

One of the earliest obtainable maps of the Island and one of the few published in the 16th Century. Excellent topographical detail, if a bit conjectural, and naming many locations. Includes decorative cartouche, 4 sea monsters, 2 sailing ships and a compass rose. Also shows Tortuga.
