Interesting original antique map of Mexico, Central America, and the American Southwest showing the important pre-Columbian monuments of the region.
The map names many important Aztec and Mayan sites, including Teotihuacan (Mexico City) and the pyramids of the Yucatan, such as Izamal and Uxmal. Political divisions are also shown.
This map was published as part of a compendium of works by Hubert Howe Bancroft, published in San Francisco in 1882.
