Attractive 18th-Century English Map of Vienna.

Fine, original, antique English-language map of Vienna and its environs, with a lengthy key.

The map shows Vienna within its city walls, with some suburban towns and fields also shown. The course of the Danube River is visible. Places of interest in the key include the castle, the mint, and the city hospital, as well as many churches.

This map was published by Dr. John Trusler for his The habitable world described: or the present state of the people in all parts of the globe in 1791. The map cites "Neele" as the engraver for the map.
