Description

Map-illustrated promotional handbill soliciting investment in oil wells in West Texas.

The map refers to an 80-acre section of the Pease Heirs Estate of the Jeremiah Brown League.

This project was apparently pursued along with J.H. McMullen, who figured prominently in some oil exploration schemes out of Fort Worth. He is mentioned as a reference in the text of the handbill.
