Last year we shipped over 4,500 antique maps to more than 50 countries. Maps are shipped Monday through Friday year-round. If an order is received before 2 PM PST, we will ship the order that day. If an order is received after that time, we will ship the next day. We ship maps either flat in custom packages or in specially ordered thick tubes. Shipping rates are provided as part of the checkout process.

Founded in 1846, Knowxvill is the county seat of Marion County. AT the time of the publication of the map, Knoxville had just seen the end of a coal mining boom which lasted from the 1870s until the 1890s.

This color lithograph, titled "Bellevue, Iowa," presents a beautifully illustrated view of Bellevue, a city situated along the Mississippi River. The image is taken from the first edition of "Das Illustrirte Mississippithal," a remarkable early color plate book of the Mississippi region, which Streeter called "the great early color plate book of the Mississippi region." The lithograph was created by H. Lewis and produced by the Lith. Inst. Arnz. & Co. Dusseldorf, capturing the essence of the city and its surroundings during the period.
