Fine old color example of  Louis Renard's remarkable sea chart of the Mediterranean, from Sardinia and Corsica to Syria and the Holy Land, centered on Greece. 

The chart shows excellent detail, including a large representation of Cyrus. Embellished with a fine large allegorical cartouche, 2 compass roses, sea monsters, sailing ships, etc. and host of other fine embellishments.
