Last year we shipped over 4,500 antique maps to more than 50 countries. Maps are shipped Monday through Friday year-round. If an order is received before 2 PM PST, we will ship the order that day. If an order is received after that time, we will ship the next day. We ship maps either flat in custom packages or in specially ordered thick tubes. Puget Sound Rarity

Scarce map of the Puget Sound Country, published by David H. White and Charles F. McConihey in Tacoma.

The map shows township surveys (except in the Olympic Mountains) and provides a detailed look at towns, roads, rivers, lakes and other details in the region.

Rarity

The map is apparently quite rare. We locate only the University of Washington and Seattle Public Library copies.

The last example offered in a dealer catalog was a Peter Decker catalog in 1962 and before that, the George W. Soliday Catalog (1945).

It offers a comprehensive view of the Oregon Territory, asserting the United States' claim to most of British Columbia by extending its boundaries to 54 degrees, 40 minutes.
