Last year we shipped over 4,500 antique maps to more than 50 countries. Maps are shipped Monday through Friday year-round. If an order is received before 2 PM PST, we will ship the order that day. If an order is received after that time, we will ship the next day. We ship maps either flat in custom packages or in specially ordered thick tubes. Shipping rates are provided as part of the checkout process.

Rare second state of the this fine early view of Venice, published by Claudio Duchetti and Giacomo Franco.

Includes a key locating 170 points of interest.

Giacomo Franco is known to have published a number of later views of Venice in the late 1590s, with various decorative scenes.

States of the View

1st: Signed by Giacomo franco fecit.
2nd: Romae Claudij Duchetti imprint added at the bottom left.
3rd: Duchetti's name is replaced by the address Ioannes Orlandi formis romae 1602.
4th: Orlandi's name is replaced by the imprint Henricus van Schoel excudit.

Condition Description

Two expertly repaired tears at bottom (bottom left and bottom center). Likely never folded. Right margin extended for a previous framing.
