Fine topographical birdseye view / map of Death Valley and Vicinity, based upon original artwork by Gerald A. Eddy.

The map extends from Mount Whitney and Walker's Pass in the West to Las Vegas and Boulder Dam in the East, providing a remarkably detailed overview of the Valley, with an excellent inset view of Furnace Creek.

Many early placenames are shown, including Ubehebe Crater, Scotty's Castle, Midway Well, Stovepipe Wells, Triangle Spring, the Sand Dunes, Harmony Borax Works, Furnace Creek Ranch, Golden Canyon, Artists Drive, Devil's Golf Course Salt Pools, Badwater, Hanupah Canyon, Shorty's Well, Bennett Well, Gravel Well, Ashford Mine, Ashford Mill, Confidence Mill, etc.

Gerald A. Eddy did several maps of the Lake Tahoe area, Death Valley and other illustrations, although he is perhaps best known as the illustrator of several interesting historical maps of the Los Angeles area, including The old Spanish and Mexican ranchos of Los Angeles County.
