Rare pro-Japanese Spanish propaganda map, celebrating Japan's victories in the Pacific, during first year of war in the Pacific Theater.
Fine large propaganda broadside was published in December 1942 to celebrate Japan's triumphs during the early stages of World War II in the Pacific.
The work was issued in the Castilian language in Francisco Franco's Spain, quite possibly at the behest of teh Nazi German government.
The red cloud which rests over East Asia shows the extent of Japanese conquests to date, while imperial Japan's 'Rising Sun' flag flies over the scene in the upper-left corner. The rest of the map is completed with photographs and pro-Japanese text.
