Rare separately published map of Korea, published by the Societe de Topographie de France in 1894.
Thie map was published in the first year of the Sino-Japanese War, which was fought between Japan and China over control of the Korean Peninsula.
Divided into 8 provinces, the map shows basic information on the roads, river systems and place names including Seoul and Pyongyang (Hpieng-Yang).
Includes an inset at top of the broader region including the two warring nations.
