Rare post WWII propaganda map, promoting Egyptian tourism, commerce and stability.
The map notes:
Egypt, Cradle of the World's Civilizations, is abreast the times. Today, tourists to her world-famous monuments travel in comfort, and enjoy peace and sunshine of this democratic monarchy, which its citizens call MISR. An up-to-date point of view typifies the Egyptian attitude toward governmental, industrial and all other national projects.
The map locates pictorially the various indigenous products of Egypt and their locations, primarily in the Nile River Valley and proximate to the Gulf of Suez.
The map is apparently quite rare. OCLC locates no other examples.
