Scare separely issued promotional map of Texas, issued to promote the routes of the Texas & Pacific Railway Company. Bears the stamp of Henry H. Hannan, Land and Emigration Agent, Swan Creek, Ohio. Shows the routes of the Railway, counties, towns, and other details. The verso includes a great promotional description of Texas, The Garden State of America and a host of other information, including a section on Northern Texas! A large cache of these promotional maps turned up several years ago, which made them temporarily available on the market. However, this is a scarce promotional item, which is difficult to obtain.
