Rare early map of the Canary Islands and a portion of the coast of Africa by John Seller, the earliest English chart maker to publish and atlas in the British Isles.

It appears that this map was only issued in the earliest editions of Seller's Atlas Maritimus, which was first published in 1671. The only example of the map which we have identified is in the 1672 edition of Seller's atlas in the Library of Congress (Phillips 4153). Phillips notes that this was a composite atlas and that all examples differ in their contents.
