Description
Rare relief style map of the Panama Canal region, published for the Central Novelty Company.
The map is very detailed, showing the route of the canal and the various locks and dams constructed to allow for a water passage between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. The accompanying text panel includes a profile view of the canal.
The former owner, Charles O. Brinckerhoff, was apparently a Commander in the New York Naval Militia.
