Description
Rare early plan of Tepic, Capital of the state of Nayarit in Mexico, published in Guadalaja.
The map shows early land owners and a town plat, along with important buildings and other locations. The map is from the collection of an American Oil Company which was then active in the region. Tepic was founded in 1542 and was an important interior city, located 15 miles east of the strategic port of San Blas.
