If an order is received after that time, we will ship the next day. We ship maps either flat in custom packages or in specially ordered thick tubes. Large format detailed map of the World on Mercator's Projection.

Shows the currents of the Ocean in Blue and British Possessions in Red. Antarctica is still largely uncharted, as are parts of the North Polar regions. A&C Black's General Atlas was one of the most popular English Language atlases of the second part of the 19th Century.

This aquatint and etching, titled Taglio della Terra, originates from the Atlante di Geografia Universale by F. C. Marmocchi, published in Florence in 1838 by Vincenzo Batelli e Figli. The work, offers a cross-sectional view of the Earth, illustrating its interior with concentric circles and depicting atmospheric variations through tone. Erupting volcanoes add a dynamic element to the representation, indicating geological activity.
