Description

Rare separately issued subdivision map of San Martin, California.

The map shows the original subdivision of San Martin Ranch, formerly part of Ranchos San Francisco De Las Llagas & La Polka. All the land north of Monterrey Road has been subdivided. The original Southern Paciffc Railroad grounds shown at the southern extremity of the map. The map extends from Llagas Creek to the Coyote River. The map is almost certainly an original subdivision map, which was likely not used for land promotion, and is therefore extremely rare.

Condition Description

Laid on linen and folded, with minor abrasions, stains and a bit of loss of image.
