Rare map of Massachusetts, Rhode Island and part of Connecticut, engraved by John Lodge for the Political Magazine. Shows early counties, towns, islands, ports, mountains, rivers, and other details. The map is quite scarce. No example has appeared in a dealer catalogue in the past 20 years. 3 inch repaired tear on the right side off of Cape Cod, else a nice example.
