Description

Rare early map of Hobson's Bay, which was apparently published in conjunction with a pamphlet regarding trade with the United States.

Based upon an earlier map by John Arrowsmith, the map notes several distances from Sandridge, including the distance from Sandridge to the United States Consulate.  The military defenses around the bay are also prominently noted.
