Rare Vintage View of George Washington's Kitchen Garden at Mount Vernon, Virginia.

Separate 1938 bird's eye view of George Washington's kitchen garden of Mount Vernon, issued by the Mount Vernon Ladies Association.

The map includes an inscription around the border detailing the restoration of the garden. The historic plot measuring just under an acre was restored in 1936 according to “plans in the General’s possession.”

There are labeled outline drawings of plants believed to be originally planted in the garden when it was used by George Washington.
