World War II-era chart in 1:3,000,000 scale of eastern Indonesia, showing the Batu Islands, Bangka, Belitung, southern Sumatra, and western Java and Borneo, issued shortly after the colony, came under Japanese occupation for its oil and rubber reserves after Dutch surrender.
