Description
Lively pictorial map of Oahu, drawn by John G. Drury of the 214 th Ordnance Battalion.
This is one in a series of Mem-o-Maps published at the end of World War II. The maps were intended as souvenirs for the military. Military personnel could fill in banners "came in on good ship" and "departed on good ship", their name and organization etc.
Pictographs mark various memorable spots and wildlife, entertainment, local culture and surfing.
Rarity
This is the first time we have offered the map in over 30 years (2023).
