Description
Striking example of Ganier's decorative map of Western and part of Central Asia, from Asia Minor and Cyprus to western China and India.
Elegantly colored, with Garnier's trademark title vignette. Garnier's atlas is rare and highly sought after for its fine colors and elegant engraving style.
Along the Gulf, Ras Reccan andEl Biddah appear in the area of Qatar, with El Katif also mentioned. In the UAE region, Dibbah appears (Dubai, though on the wrong side), as does Abothubbee (Abu Dhabi). The broader regions is called El Ahsa or Hadjar.
