Description

Mapping NATO Aggression.

A dramatic Cold War-era Soviet propaganda mini-poster mapping the extent of NATO.

The map shows the extent of the military pact, reaching throughout Europe. An American, apparently Vietnam-era, soldier is shown in the US.

The upper left text block quotes an official statement from the Soviet government as saying:

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization has appeared in the eyes of the peoples as the main source of military danger, as the support of all reactionary forces in Europe, as the patron of West German militarism and revanchism. From the statement of the Soviet government.

The text block at the bottom reads:

The reliance on the use of force and the achievement of military superiority is the basis of NATO's policy. Since its creation in 1949 and up to the present day, the bloc has not accepted any of the Soviet proposals aimed at stopping the arms race. NATO countries blindly follow the policy that the President of the USA defined with the words: 'Force is our most convincing argument.'
