Fascinating early space age poster graphic, with an acknowledgement to Douglas Aircraft Company for their technical assistance.
The poster provides an overview of space, including a model of the solar system, graphics and informational text on planets, stars, constellations, orbits, relative planetary sizes, etc.
Along the bottom are graphics showing Sputnik III, Explorer III and prospective models for manned rockets ("just around the corner" ... "returning to earth as a hypersonic glider") and a fascinating model of a space suit proto-type.
