Map-illustrated handbill aggressively promoting investment in oil exploration south of Dallas, in Ellis County, Texas.
To call the text over-earnest is probably an understatement. The printer presumably ran out of exclamation points and capital letters by the time they had finished setting the handbill. The author places particular emphasis on the "sworn affidavit" of the mayor of Maypearl: "You CAN'T REASONABLY DOUBT THE SWORN AFFIDAVIT OF A MAN OF THE RESPONSIBILITY OF MAYOR BROOKS!!"
The map describes the lease as "Clark Brooks Ellis County Block and Well - on 7000 Ac."
