Condition Description
Octavo. Two volumes, each in original green publisher's cloth, paneled in blind with gilt device (crest of Sydenham) at center. Spine in six compartments separated by raised bands, two with gilt lettering. Minor shelf-wear and wear to front joints. Some foxing to first few leaves. Housed in custom quarter morocco solander box. x, 466, [2]; vi, 469-872, [2] pages. 8 plates of early surgical instruments.
