Description

Scarce topographical map of the Kingdom of Bohemia, published in Vienna in 1886.

Includes a large plan of Prague at the bottom right.

The map was annotated by an early owner, who seems to have been labeling regions in northern and western Bohemia with Roman numbers.

The signature and label on the on the outer panel suggest it may have been owned by Dr. Franz Zeliska (1873-1944), who was apparently an noteworthy dentist, who wrote a number of important journal articles in the early part of the 20th Century, which were published in the Transactions of the Fourth International Dental Congress and Transactions of the Sixth International Dental Congress.
