Great '90s vintage poster print signed by the famous San Diegan surfer Greg Noll. This poster was made for the 1992 remake of Noll's pre-Endless Summer surfing films Search for Surf that he produced between 1958 and 1961. The poster features original artwork by the great surf artist and filmmaker John Severson.
The poster features Severson's rendition of Noll's famous ride at Kaena Point, where he surfed the largest wave ever photographed in 1969.
This example of the poster is signed by Greg Noll. Noll was a noted surfer from the 1960s for a number of reasons, with his iconic Surf for Surf credited as being one of the earliest series of movies to popularize the sport. He was a noted big wave surfer and accomplished several surfing feats on the North Shore of Ohau before returning to California where he retired.
