Description
Wonderful original hand-drawn map of the route from San Francisco to Muir Beach by R. Crumb, one of the greats of 20th-century comic art and Bay Area Counter-Culture.
The map includes numerous annotations, a rendition of "Eric's House" perched over the Pacific, and a cute square-rigged ship sailing near the Golden Gate.
We are aware of only one other Crumb map having come to market "Come to beautiful Potter Valley."
Condition Description
Marker on artist's board. Small water stains at the top edge. Remnants of spiral perforation at the left edge of the sheet.
