Description
Fanstastic pictorial map of Taos, New Mexico, made by Jann Taylor of the Santa Ana Poster + Art-Works. This is a "Revised Edition" with "Art + Calligraphy" by Philo & Donna of Taos, N.M. Presumably this means it was published in 1976 rather than 1975 (both dates appear on the map) though that is not fully clear.
The map illustrates a plethora of local landmarks and dozens of businesses.
A lengthy description of the history of Taos appears under the title.
A note in the lower-left indicates that the map was available in a number of formats including "de luxe bicentennial edition printed on parchment in 2 colors 24x30".
The map is scarce today, this being the first time we have ever offered it for sale.
