Description

Path of Comets Across Aries and Ceres

Rare pair of images on a single sheet, showing the path of a number of comets across the celestial sky.

One image shows  the head of constellation Ceres--depicted as a whale and with the component stars represented atop its body, with five comets marked.

The second image depicts a wider view of Ceres' mouth, as well as the ram Aries, depicted in the same fashion. A total of nine comets are shown across the two constellations.
