Fishing Swimming Boating Sailing All Right Here At The Motor City
Fascinating fishing map of the area around Belle Isle and Grosse Point Michigan, published in 1935.
The map covers the waterfront from Moross Road and Crescent Sail Yacht Club in the north (now Pier Point) to Conners Creek and the west end of Belle Isle in the southwest. A meticulous accounting of the piers, parks, boat yard liveries and, Yacht Clubs and fishing locations is given.
The international boundary is shown, with a note that a fishing license is required in Canadian Waters.
On the Windsor side, there is additional detail, focused again on local fishing.
