Rare late 19th Century Lithography showing various scenes of the Spanish American War of 1898.

While the image is in the style of Kurz & Allison, we are not able to identify the maker.

The map includes a number of famous scenes, including depictions of the Rough Riders and other scenes from the Philippines, Cuba and Puerto Rico.

The scenes include:

  • Charge of the Rough Riders, Santiago Heights
  • Landing of the troops
  • The Fall of El Caney
  • Death of Hamilton Fish
  • Porto Rico, Close of the War
  • Night Attack, Manila
  • Our Country's Call (center)


The image is apparently quite rare. We were unable to locate other examples.
