Canal of Constantinople. The Bosphorus of ancient Trace communicates with the White and the Black Seas. The Port or Harbour of Constantinople is formed out of the Gulf of Cheratus and is capable of holding One Thousand Ships. The City is in Lat. 41.4 N. Long. 29.20 East from London.
