Description

Interesting small vintage map of Manhattan below 59th street, issued by the Hudson & Manhattan Railroad to show how one could access New York from New Jersey using its lines.

The map utilizes an interesting pictorial element, showing the termini at 33rd Street and the Hudson Terminal downtown as hearts (read heart of the city), at which you could access all of the City.

On the back of the map are the 1952 schedules for the New York Yankees, Brooklyn Dodgers, and New York Giants.

The map shows how to access Yankee Stadium, Ebbets Field, and the Polo Grounds from the H&M RR stations.
